Yes, a crisis will definitely cause all the trivial “stuff” to be put into perspective. I’m sorry that you lost both of your parents to cancer and apparently at a rather young age as well. Thank you for sharing your health journey with me. I can’t imagine being told of a brain tumor, so scary. Even though the doctors tell you that you are well, I’m sure you are still prone to worry. An attitude of thankfulness certainly changed my life. It’s amazing how an emergency can bring the truly important things so quickly into focus, isn’t it?

Both my parents had terminal cancer. I wish you continued recovery, health, and daily joy.

I am glad that you are well. I found your blog through a Blip.fm tweet on my Twitter acct.

About 18yrs ago,after an MRI, I heard these words:
“You have a brain tumor.” They believed it to be benign. That was scarey. I took all kinds of Meds. And had more MRI’s than I can remember.
And I prayed alot. Mi Mama prayed alot too.
Now it is an empty cella…which is great news…it was ideopathic…so every couple of yrs. I have to have an MRI.
I am glad you are well.
