I have made many new friends on twitter – people that live where I do (Pittsburgh), people that share my interests (reading, music, silly jokes!), and people that are going through similar life experiences (cancer).

One such new friend is Loren DiGiorgi, or DarkPiano as his twitter friends know him. Loren is a friendly tweeter with a sense of humor and a love of music. In fact, Loren is a musician. He tunes pianos to pay for his internet connection so he can tweet endlessly to all his favorite people, LOL! On one such excursion to tune an elderly woman’s piano, he got so much more than a check for his troubles. The woman was struggling with lung cancer and simply wanted to play an in tune piano as her “medicine”. I am thankful for the opportunity to interact with people such as Loren and I’m sure I will have many more such experiences as I continue to tweet . . . I love twitter!
